Pets - How can I bring my pet to Turkey temporarily?
In order to take a pet into Turkey for a temporary period, the following documents should be legalised by the Consulate General.
Veterinary certificate (and vaccination document) which should be issued not more than fifteen days before traveling to Turkey should be stamped by the British Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries or by the British Foreign Office.
Export certificate issued by the British Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries or by the British Foreign Office.
Photocopies of above mentioned documents, which will be retained in our files as reference.
The legalisation fee for each document is 12 pounds payable in cash, by company cheques or by postal order which must be made payable to the Turkish Consulate General.
If forwarded by post, kindly enclose a self-stamped & self-addressed envelope for the safe return of the documents.
